Hi,

The "Not enough permissions to create record.", means that you have not checked the create record permission, and the importer cant find an existing record matching that.

Does a product with that id exist? if so is it the woocommerce product ID, if so change the unique identifier type to template (https://www.importwp.com/docs/permissions/#use-a-template-field-as-the-unique-identifier) and select the ID field, then on the template populate the ID field with that of the id column of your csv.

Please note you may need to enable the ID field on the importer template via the enable fields button: https://www.importwp.com/docs/import-wordpress-posts-from-any-xml-or-csv-file/#post-importer-template

Ok thanks a lot for your reply.

And, is it possible to import some users reviews with Import WP Pro for products?

Thanks

Hi Thierry,

From what i understand product reviews are just comments, with some extra data so in theory you could use the comments template to import these reviews. I can have a look into this but i am out of office until the 10th , but can look at this when i am back.

Hello James,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Where could I find the comments template ? Would it work for woocommerce products ?

Thanks a lot,

Hi Thierry,

You can import product reviews by selecting the "comments" template when creating a new importer,

To set the star rating you need to add the custom field of "rating" to the comment, this is limited between 1 and 5.

I have attached a very basic comment setup, but you can enable extra fields to set the users details and other required information.

Ok thanks a lot.

An other question.

Yesterday, I did an import for new 4 products with a CSV and it imported my 4 products but also 800 empty products..

Which setting should I set up to not have the same error ?

Can you attach a copy of the file that was being imported?

If there were no rows no products would be imported, but because there are rows but with missing data it tries to import them (That file has 886 rows of empty data).

Thanks.

How and where could you see the document had 886 rows of empty data ?

If you see the previously attached screenshot you can see the empty rows, to view this yourself you can open the csv file in a text editor.
