Hi there,

im looking for a way to save pictures as the \”erweiterte Einstellungen – Bilder\”-Field of each post.

Bild_1 is the featured image and i can set that in the settings.
Bild_2-Bild_x are the gallery. Here i cant choose where to save those pictures. Is there an option to select them to be saved in the \”erweiterte Einstellungen\” of the post?
Its not a acf-field, its a wordpress functionality.

Thanks
Mary

Hi,

How is this created? erweiterte Einstellungen , as this is not default wordpress settings?

If you create a example post and populate these fields, you should then be able to use the custom field finder to see how it is stored? https://www.importwp.com/docs/how-to-import-wordpress-custom-fields/#find-existing-custom-fields

Hi James,

okay - its a theme-functionality.
The field has the name "us_tile_additional_image"

Works fine for one picture (if i add it via custom fields).
When i want to add them in the section "Images & Attachments" i cant choose where the pictures are to be saved - is there an option to map the images?

If i go via custom field it just works for one picture. The second one (seperated via ,) is not showing. Also the manual added name is gone after saving ;)

If this is stored as a custom field, you would be best removing it from the "Images & Attachments" section, and as you have shown in your screenshot make it a custom field with type attachment, and then import all images to this single field (making sure the return value matches that of the stored custom field), if you need help with that please paste in what the custom field preview looks like of the example post.
