Schedule XML Download

how ever the link is about schedule the import of an already downloaded XML file.

but i want to schedule the download itself, under the section "Select File"

Under the "select file" Step, remote file, and local file datasources will automatically download fresh copies of the files each time they are scheduled.

i have tried this, and checked all the settings, and the schedule works, but only with the already downloaded file.

i have to manually download the file each time, and it doesnt overwrite the previous downloaded file.

From the existing files list it looks like new files are downloading.

If you want to update the file that is previewed in the importer editor (cached for performance reasons), then you need to click the "download" button to fetch a new one that.

yes the 3 files you are seeing are the ones i downloaded manually.

we did set a schedule for the importer to run once every week. but till now it hasnt add any new records because the XML file isnt updated by the importer, but i have checked the link myself and i can see there are new records.

is there a possible way to automate the download part?

A scheduled importer will download a new file each time it is ran via its schedule, since their is no file i presume the importer did not run?

When you scheduled the importer to run, is there a history entry showing that the importer did run?
