I can’t upload my csv

Hello,

I have previously create my custom post type and my custom fields with ACF.

I need to upload a csv with all the data for that fields. I have 5 different fields: name, surname, category, number and date.

I have a csv with 5 columns, and the heading of the columns is the name of the custom field.

Please, I need you assitence because I don’t know how to do that.

I create an Importer but when I upload a file this happen: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2023/11. I’m trying to upload a csv. 

When I continue, sometimes upload but then appear an error

And I don’t know how to do, what are the next step… how can I upload my data fields to complete the information of my custom post type?

Hi Estudio,

The error "The upload file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2023/11" , can you confirm that you can upload files to your website normally by uploading a file to your media library?

Can you also download your tools > site health > info > copy site info to clip information.

I think the reason for you not being able to upload files is, in your site health, it has the flag:

file_uploads: File uploads is turned off

If you are unable to re-enable this setting, then as an alternative method i would recommend uploading the file to your website using ftp or another method, then  using the remote file option and referencing the file url or local file datasource option and referencing the file path

Once you have a file added to the importer, if successful the file settings step should show a preview of the first record in your importer
