Import screen stopped at o%

Hi,

When I try to import from my CSV file, this strange thing happens: the import progress bar stays at 0% stuck and does not advance. However, if I go and look on the site, the data has been copied correctly. How can I solve it?

Are you able to attach a copy of your WP Admin > Tools > Site Health > Info

Hi,

Can you try installing the attached version.

I have had a look further into this, and i have noticed that some servers throttle the number of allowed processes, previously the importer ran in a single request, and the importer progress was updating in a second request, i have now removed the second request and limited the importer to process a maximum of 20 records before ending that current chunk, and then continuing.

This means the progress should update.

If however you are still not seeing any progress change after installing and running the importer, could you enable debug mode via Tools > Import WP > Settings / Tools >Enable Debug Mode.

Then re-run the importer, and after a while, at the bottom of the screen there should be a show debug link, that will open up a panel allowing you to download and attach the importer log.
