Hi, first congrats for your well-design import tool.

Now my question si about CSV import and dealing with Taxonomies.

I have a custom_postype “Product” with a custom ACF custom taxonomy, in my CSV file this is “customfield_categorytaxonomy”. How do I specify parent/child as a list, So I have an ACF WordPress product category that shows

LLM (parent)

3B (child)

7B (child)

How do I enter parent + child as in [LLM, 3B]? what is the notation in a CSV column for this?

Hi Federico,

When importing taxonomies onto a post type, under the "Show settings" button there should be an "enable hierarchy" dropdown, changing this to yes will display a hierarchy character that will default to ">" , and a field labeled "Hierarchy relationship" where you can choose to connect all terms to the imported post, or to conned just the last term.

Using the default herarchy character ">" , in your csv if you want to import a parent child relationship you csv column would be something like "LLM > 38, LLM > 7B" , this would be imported as:

|- LLM
|---- 38
|---- 7B
