Trigger import with URL

Hi,

I’ve read https://www.importwp.com/docs/how-to-schedule-an-importer/ but not found how to trigger an import (from Googlesheets) from a simple URL.

Is that possible ? Or would you see another way ?

Hi,

To complete this demand :

- each import could includes the option "Download new file before import." in order to have the freshest content to import

- the URL can be used even if the user is not logged in to wordpress.

Maybe is it possible through Google AppScript (would be great!) ?

Hi Laurent,

At the moment what you require is not possible, however i will prioritise adding background importing which will then allow importers to be triggered to run (in your example triggered via a url), then the WordPress cron continue the import till it is completed.
