Hi Arun,

Can you please export and attach your importer settings to this ticket by going to Tools > Import WP > Settings / Tools > Import / Export and select and export your importer as a JSON file.

Can you also attach a copy of your xml file, and a copy of the wp job manager plugin (so i can look into the apply button and description formatting)

Hi Adrun,

1) To get the apply button you need to import to the "_application" custom field (screenshot attached)

2) The descriptions in your xml file are single line with no formatting, which is why there is no formatting.

3) According to Yoast: https://yoast.com/what-is-indexnow/ - We’ll ping IndexNow whenever you publish or update your content. You don’t have to do anything — it all works silently in the background. (so this should just work when a job is published)

Can you please export and attach your importer settings to this ticket by going to Tools > Import WP > Settings / Tools > Import / Export and select and export your importer as a JSON file.

1) can you attach a copy of the xml feed that contains a job with this issue, and let me know an example job with this issue so i can easily find it.

2) when adding a job without the importer is there a seperate field to set the desktop logo and the mobile logo?

3) As i mentioned previously, in the previous example xml file there is no formatting in the feed, you would have to come up with some way to format this on your own in the theme.

4) To make sure your importer runs frequently enough in the background you need to setup a cron to run every minute via the system task scheduler: https://www.importwp.com/docs/how-to-schedule-an-importer/
