I have a price comparision site with many brand and merchants that sell the same items. I have the product descriptions how I would like them on my site but when I try to update the product with a new merchant it overrides my description of the product with the new one. I have tried using the \”resctrict update to not include the field \”description\” but if I do this it just make the description feild blank so the product now has no description. So my qustion is how can I update existing products without updating the product details? I would like to leave the description as is and only update the price, brand, merchant, url link and title to include the new merchant to compare with the other existing merchants. Also I\’m using Woo Commerce with Content Egg and Rehub Theme.
