Hi,

I have such a big problem, when I run the importer, I have some big errors in history, and at the end of the import, all rows but 2 are deleted :\’|

PS: The \’big error in images\’

So if anyone has any ideas… I\’d love to hear it

Hi,

On the importer where you mention "at the end of the import, all rows but 2 are deleted" , does this importer have the delete permission enabled to confirm that it is allowed to delete records?

Can you send a screenshot of the importer permissions step.

Can you send a screenshot of the importer history page, to include the status message at the top, so i can see how many inserts, updates, and deletes were made? (screenshot attached to show status message), along with a screenshot of the importer history archive page.

Can you attach your wordpress site health by going to Tools > Site Health > Copy site info to clipboard, and pasting this into a text file and attaching to this ticket.

As for the unable to download image, for that error all i was able to find is  "The certificates for the target server either need to be improved or you must somehow configure openssl to allow dh keys that are too small.", which i am unable to help you with as this is beyond the scope of the plugin and is a server level issue.

Ok, so in attached file i've send permission step, history list/details & site details

PS: after completely reinstalling the plugin with WP & Envato, the lines are no longer deleted.

Thanks in advance

Can you send a screenshot showing what you mean by "lines deleted"?

uh... it's been deleted, so no, but basically the properties (I work for a real estate agency) were visible during the import and were deleted from the database at the end of the import.

Based on your importer permissions screenshot, you have the unique identifier set to "ID" field, this means that if the value set on your importer for the ID field does not match the id of your property then it will be deleted (the id of the property can be found when editing the property in wordpress via the edit url: for example on my local server: https://dev.local/wp-admin/post.php?post=8775&action=edit , e.g. the id of this would be 8775)

Does your csv / xml file have a unique reference for each property, if so i would recommend using this as the unqiue identifier, if you need help with this can you:

1. Export and attach your importer settings to this ticket by going to Tools > Import WP > Settings / Tools > Import / Export and select and export your importer as a JSON file.

2. Attach a example csv/xml file and let me know which column/node you want for the unqiue identifier.

Only "ID" and "post_name" appear in the unique identifier drop-down menu on the permissions step

I'm attaching the source CSV file (the delimiter is the "&" character) as well as the JSON file. The aim is for the unique identifier to be the second column.

Thank you for the information,

It looks like you have already used the 2nd column for the acf custom field: field_cf47rs_property_sku, if you can go into acf admin area and view the field group that contains this field, and find the "field name", not the "field key" (screenshot attached showing acf field group with the field name product_sku) ?

Following the quick guide here: https://www.importwp.com/docs/permissions/#using-a-custom-field-as-a-unique-identifier that shows you how to do this it with a default custom field.

But you can use the acf custom field , once you have the field name of "field_cf47rs_property_sku", you can type it into the unique identifier field and use the acf field that way.

Well... After a few tweaks, including switching the image urls to http instead of https, I have fewer errors, but one big one persists.

There's an average of 8 images per property, but only one is displayed, even though they've all been downloaded...

which field in your property displays the images?

What settings have you enabled for this field in the importer?

For the images, I have the field "ACF - Gallery"I've set this in the importer : (in attachement)With this, I have no images in the gallery, but if I leave return value empty, I have 1 image in the gallery.

And I always get this error from nowhere, which is supposed to be a problem with the url... (in attachment

In your gallery field can you change the Return value to "Attachment ID - Multiple Records"

Is this the same csv you previously provided, or a different one, if so can you provide the csv and export of your importer so i can test locally.

I don't know why, but in a previous test I set "Attachment ID - Multiple Records" but it didn't work, now it does.

Many thanks for your help

Glad its working,

This is something you shouldn't have had to do, as this setting should be auto populated with the acf integration, this is just a temporary work around.

Sorry, can you change this value to "Attachment ID - Serialized" , even tho it may work with "Attachment ID - Multiple Records" i would recommend using this to stop possible future issues.

This has been fixed in the next release of ImportWP Pro to default this selection.
