Hi, in an import today, it stalled at a certain row and won’t progress. If I import a new file it also won’t import it at all. Not sure what’s going on I’ve never had an issue in the past.

Hi Alyssa,

Are you able to provide access to your website so that i can have a look into this?

If not,

* does your server have any error logs that you can attach?

* Can you attach your wordpress site health by going to Tools > Site Health > Copy site info to clipboard, and pasting this into a text file and attaching to this ticket.

* Can you please export and attach your importer settings to this ticket by going to Tools > Import WP > Settings / Tools > Import / Export and select and export your importer as a JSON file.

Thanks
James

Running the import on your server returns a server error (screenshot attached) but i cant see what is conflicting due to your errors being hidden, is there a away you can attach an error log so that i can investigate this further.

I have tried running the import locally and this runs without issue (screenshot attached).

Hi James,

I couldn't figure out how to get the full error log by accessing the sftp files. I have no coding knowledge and couldn't even find the wp-config files... but I did download an error log plugin that's now visible on the dashboard. When I tried to run the import again you can see the errors that popped up in the attached screenshot.

Hi James,

I ran an import with another file and it worked without issues and then ran the original file that stalled and everything worked fine. In between, I updated some other outdated plugins so maybe that helped?

Thanks so much for your awesome tool and your time.

Thank you Alyssa,

The warnings you showed would not trigger an error during import, but i will note them down and try to resolve them if i havent already in the latest development build.

Im glad you managed to get it working, I am going to close the ticket,  If you need anymore help or the issue re-appears just let me know.

Thanks
James

To help support the plugin i would be very grateful if you could leave a rating/review to help others find this plugin https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jc-importer/reviews/
