Good evening,

I am attempting to upload a csv containing information for a custom post type with the settings to import a featured image that is already in the wordpress media gallery. I am including a screenshot of my attachment settings. I have run multiple imports and see no changes. I have double checked that the photo names are the same and that the attachment url in the records leads to the file. I am wondering why these photos are not actually populating the featured image portion of the pages. I have around 800 pages to upload but I am using a smaller group to make sure I have everything configured properly.

Hi Ryan,

I have just setup a blank install, and tested importing an image from the media library as a featured image without issue.

Are you able to download the "Dhalia.png" image from your media library (making sure it doesnt get renamed in the process), attach the example row from your csv file, and also attach your importer settings to this ticket by going to Tools > Import WP > Settings / Tools > Import / Export and select and export your importer as a JSON file.

thanks, Can you also download amd attach the "Dhalia.png" image from your media library so i can test.

Thanks, does the file on the server have the name Dhalia-2.png or is that a suffix your browser has added when downloading?

Could you take a screenshot of the attachment details page within the wordpress media section?
