Plugin not good for variations

This plugin doesn’t work properly with variable woo commerce products, it does not update a variable item unless you have specifically made a csv for variations, ie needs to know parent and child scenario, our csvs to not have that just unique SKU for every product including the variable it’s on SKU a CSV should be able to update no matter parent or child just the unique SKU identifier is required.

Hi Daniel,

Just to confirm that i understand your situation, you have a csv with a list of products in it, and you are wanting to update information on the variation using just the product SKU as a reference?

This should be possible to help me see what you have setup, can you please export and attach your importer settings to this ticket by going to Tools > Import WP > Settings / Tools > Import / Export and select and export your importer as a JSON file.

And also an example couple of rows from the csv file.

As a follow up to this i have just tested updating the prices of products using a csv with just an ski and a price column (example csv attached) and can confirm variable product prices are being updated.

Screenshots attached showing befor and after prices, along with the importer settings to accomplish this.

On Step 3 populate regular price, and product sku fields.

On Step 4, set unique identiier to _sku, and enable only the update permission to only update "Regular price".
