Importing ACF Checkbox Fields with ImportWP

Hello ImportWP Support Team,

I am seeking assistance with importing ACF checkbox fields using the ImportWP plugin. Specifically, I have a checkbox field named “Color” in ACF that allows multiple selections such as black, white, red, yellow, and blue.

In my CSV, the corresponding field is represented with values like “black,white” or “yellow,red”. Could you guide me on how to properly import this data into the checkbox fields?

I’ve looked through the documentation but was unable to find an example that covers this scenario. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

To give me a good idea of what you are looking at,

Can you please export and attach your importer settings to this ticket by going to Tools > Import WP > Settings / Tools > Import / Export and select and export your importer as a JSON file.

Can you also export your acf field group.

Can you also give me an example csv/xml file and explain which node/column should map to the acf  checkbox field.

Thank you for prodviding all that information, if you are using ImportWP PRO v2.8 or lower you need to install the old ImportWP acf addon: https://www.importwp.com/integrations/advanced-custom-fields/

Once installed, if you select the field name that is prefixed with "Advanced Custom Fields" (screenshot attached), instead of using the field name "clothes_color".

In the screenshot you can see that if you want to add multiple selections you need to seperate them with a ","
